waterdrop® is seeking a creative and motivated Freelance Content Creator to produce engaging short-form video content for our social media platforms. This remote role is ideal for a self-starter with an eye for aesthetics and a knack for brand storytelling. You will be provided with regular briefs and products to guide content creation, ensuring alignment with our brand voice and goals.
Your responsibilities at waterdrop®:
- As a Freelance Content Creator US (m/f/d) you develop, shoot, and edit short-form video content for platforms like Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
- You create high-quality user-generated content (UGC) that feels authentic and relatable, resonating with our target audience.
- You review and follow provided briefs to accurately represent our brand, products, and messaging in each piece of content.
- You regularly pitch new content ideas that align with current social media trends and brand objectives.
- You ensure consistency in video quality, including editing, sound, lighting, and overall visual appeal.
- You stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and platform updates, adapting content as needed.
- You support with creating captions
Your strengths & qualifications:
- Proven experience in creating and editing UGC-style short-form video content for social media.
- Ability to follow creative briefs and direction, integrating product features and brand messaging seamlessly.
- Proficient in video editing software and mobile editing apps.
- Strong creative and storytelling skills, with a keen understanding of social media dynamics.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
- As part of the application process, candidates must present a portfolio or examples of previous work that demonstrate their ability to create compelling short-form and UGC video content.
- Experience working with lifestyle or consumer brands.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok
