Your responsibilities at waterdrop®:

  • As a Treasury Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's treasury function.
  • You will be tasked with developing and implementing treasury policies and procedures, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
  • You report cash balances and create group-wide cash forecasts
  • You prepare payment instructions, including the management of bank transfers and standing orders
  • You develop and implement group-wide treasury policies and procedures
  • You manage the usage of virtual credit cards, approval workflows, and payout of expense claims
  • You manage and optimize foreign currency risk exposure (currency management/forward exchange transactions)
  • You manage permissions and access in the various banking systems, ensuring all business users have the necessary and correct user rights and limits
  • You identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in the areas of payment processing and cash management as well as support in the implementation and optimization of treasury processes and tools (e.g. POS settlements for stores).
  • You reconcile cash flows generated through global payment providers in our e-commerce shop (e.g., Shopify, PayPal, Klarna, etc.)
  • You coordinate with our relationship banks on matters such as service issues and KYC
  • You take a key role in the evaluation and implementation of a treasury management system
  • You ensure compliance with external regulations and implement control procedures to minimize risk exposure (fraud/error)
  • You support the Finance Team for international projects
  • You implement cash pooling across international subsidiaries

Your strengths and qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or a related field or equivalent experience
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Treasury/ Cash Management/ Corporate Finance in a similar position
  • You have experience with different banking software and treasury tools
  • You have advanced Excel/MS Office skills
  • You have strong analytical skills to analyze financial data, develop forecasts, and identify trends
  • You bring a hands-on and solution-oriented attitude
  • You have an independent but also cooperative working style
  • You have the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
  • You bring a high level of trustworthiness and reliability
  • You are fluent in English; German is a plus

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 50.000 gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications, there is the willingness for overpayment.
